Fromes Hill is a small hamlet in Herefordshire, England. The population is around 350, with most of the residences along the main A road or to the sides of it. Fromes Hill is known as a Linear Settlement. The hamlet has a pub, a restaurant, an ex army store and a church. Fromes Hill lies about east of Hereford, north of Ledbury and west of Worcester. Local agriculture includes apples (cider), wheat, grains and hops. The Bosbury Cider Festival draws upon Fromes Hill to provide the excellent cider produced and sold at the festival. Most of the cider and wine is produced at the Frome Valley Vineyard. Hill Climb Winners 1897–1949 by Hans Etzrodt )〕 * On 30 August 1904, the main event was won by E.V. Fielder, who averaged 11.8 mph in his Wolseley 6 hp.〔 * On 17 June 1905 the event was run over a 1,289-yard course and was won by M.H.
